- About Me:
- STEP UP School of Dance, was born in March 2008 by I.D.T.A and B.C.A qualified dance teacher and Member and Adudicator of the A.D.F.P Miss Natasha Hansell who has over 18 years of dance experience as a professional dancer, competitor and teacher lecturer.
Natasha is also a Young Ambassador for the Princes Trust, and has just been nominated for The Business Enterprise Award, and The Community Impact Award by the Princes Trust and has been shortlisted for the Community Impact Award to take place in November 2009.
Natasha Has also been shortliseted for dance awards such as the John Dilworth and Bill Tasker scholorships. As well as dancing on many famous London stages working alongside some celebrities!
Natasha has also choreographed for many schools, nurseries and dance schools for show work, as well as training many Championship dancers. As well as choreographing routines for Britain's Got Talent and Idol UK.
Natasha has also worked with a number of radio stations including BRMB and Becon radio, as well as working alongside many charities and other organisations.
STEP UP offers many different dance styles, in a fun and friendly atmosphere with helpful staff on hand to assist. We aim to create opportunities for dancers of all ages and abilities to reach their goals and ambition, and to learn skills that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Our school is also lucky to have David Jones and Steven Knoall as guest teachers at STEP UP. Who between them are Championship teachers, lectures, adjudicators and examiners. As well as being form As well as being former World Latin Champion.
We offer classes and private lessons in many styles of dance, so there is sure to be a class that suits everyone. We also offer our pupils the chance to:

Take part in shows and showcases
Take part in examinations and competitions
Join our crew and show teams and travel to auditions

We have been on the BBC website, our pupils have auditioned and reached the finals of Idol UK 2008, to be screened on ITV. As well as auditioning for Britain's Got Talent to be screened in 2009 on ITV.
